Prosafe appoints new CEO
(26 Aug 2010) Prosafe’s Board of Directors has appointed Karl Ronny Klungtvedt (37) as the new CEO of Prosafe SE. Mr Klungtvedt will take up his new position on 1 October and will be based in Larnaca, Cyprus.

Dividend approved
(26 Aug 2010) The Board of Directors resolved on 25 August 2010 to declare an interim dividend equivalent to USD 0.095 per share to shareholders of record as of 6 September 2010.

Second quarter 2010 results
(26 Aug 2010) Operating profit amounted to USD 79.7 million, which is the best ever quarterly result, and net profit amounted to USD 43.1 million. Prosafe expects a good long-term demand for semi-submersible accommodation rigs, with stable activity in the North Sea and Mexico and growth in deepwater regions.

North Sea contract for Safe Caledonia
(11 Aug 2010) Prosafe has been awarded a contract by BG International (CNS) Limited for the provision of the Safe Caledonia accommodation rig for the Gaupe and other projects in the North Sea.

Q2 2010 results and webcast on 26 August 2010
(09 Aug 2010) Prosafe SE informs that the results for the second quarter of 2010 will be published on 26 August 2010 at approx. 8:30 a.m. CET. Arne Austreid, President & CEO and Karl Ronny Klungtvedt, EVP Strategy & Corporate Planning will the same day at 10:00 a.m. CET give a presentation of the result at the Hotel Continental, Stortingsgt. 24/26 in Oslo.

Safe Lancia bareboat contract
(06 Aug 2010) Interpetroleum Services has awarded Prosafe a bareboat contract for Safe Lancia operating for Pemex offshore Mexico. The contract commences on 19 August and ends on 31 December 2012. Total value of the contract linked to the award is about USD 57 million.

Operational update for Q2 2010
(13 Jul 2010) Rig utilisation in the second quarter of 2010 was 87 per cent. Safe Scandinavia commenced operations for Statoil end-April. Safe Esbjerg recommenced operations for Maersk mid-April, after completing a successful yard-stay related to the planned Special Periodic Survey.
